Reviews and Ratings
My stay at The Davis Bangkok was a mixed experience. While I appreciated the friendly staff and the location near shopping malls, I faced plumbing issues and dated decor that detracted from the comfort. The rooftop pool offered a nice respite from Bangkok's heat, but overall, the hotel felt worn down rather than luxurious. I had high hopes but left feeling somewhat disappointed.
My stay at The Davis Bangkok was a mixed experience. The room was fantastic, spacious, and clean, but the check-in process left much to be desired. The staff were unresponsive to pre-arrival inquiries and the service felt lacking throughout my stay. While the rooftop pool and location were a plus, I was disappointed overall, especially for a special occasion like my birthday.
Overall, I found The Davis Bangkok to be a solid choice. The spacious rooms were a nice surprise, especially at such a competitive price point. I appreciated the friendly staff and the lovely pool area, but the Wi-Fi connection and breakfast variety left a bit to be desired.
I had high hopes for The Davis Bangkok, given its storied past as a boutique hotel, but honestly, it felt like it had lost its spark. While the location is pretty fantastic and the building has its charming moments, my experience was marred by cleanliness issues and dated decor. It’s a real shame because it could be such a gem with a little TLC.
I stayed for my birthday in the Diplomat Suite at The Davis Bangkok, and while the room was spacious and clean with a fantastic jacuzzi, the overall experience left much to be desired. Despite my partner and me reaching out for special arrangements, we received no responses, which set a disappointing tone for the stay. The service during check-in was unfriendly, and I felt unwelcome, ultimately detracting from what should have been a celebratory occasion.
